Hillary Clinton Blood Clot

Let's hope she makes it out alive.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton was admitted to a New York hospital Sunday after the discovery of a blood clot stemming from the concussion she sustained earlier this month.
Clinton's doctors discovered the clot Sunday while performing a follow-up exam, her spokesman, Philippe Reines, said. He would not elaborate on the location of the clot but said Clinton is being treated with anti-coagulants and would remain at New York-Presbyterian Hospital for at least the next 48 hours so doctors can monitor the medication.

"Her doctors will continue to assess her condition, including other issues associated with her concussion," Reines said in a statement. "They will determine if any further action is required."

Where Is Hillary Clinton?

This question was posed in a recent article in The Weekly Standard It makes you wonder if her concussion was just a concussion. Someone wants her quiet. The fact that she was not seen on Christmas Eve attending a church service is also bothersome. Unlike Obama she has a history of attending Christian Church services, and for her to miss a Christmas Eve service should send up red flags. It's good the weekly Standard has taken notice and logged the information. A stomach bug does not keep you down for that long. Neither does a simple concussion. Is she down because something "happened" to her at the hands of someone who wanted her quiet, or is she lying low of her own free will. Lets hope it is the latter.

Sidwell Friends School Has Eleven Armed Guards

While Obama is trying to disarm the country the school his daughters attend have eleven armed guards.

Now obviously there are armed guards because the school is attended by many children of dignitaries, but eleven guards there and none at most public schools should all tell us all that the arming of people against the bad guys is important.

However it is extremely dangerous to let the "arming" of people soley to the government. Should a rogue person, or small group, who does not have the best interest of America get in place at the top of the government our freedoms as a nation could be in great jeopardy.

If Obama truly wants to help this nation he can go along with the Americans who want to strengthen our borders by keeping both illegal aliens and gun runners out of our country. He won't do that though because by allowing the free flowing of undocumented illegals into this country he is  ensuring the support that native born Americans largely withold.

It's not really about keeping America safe. It's about controlling America.

Remember when lawmakers talk about "Draconian" it is a code word for among other things, OPPRESSION.

Facebook tests $1 fee for messages to non-friends

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Facebook says it is testing a service that will charge users $1 to guarantee that messages they send to people they are not connected to arrive in users’ inboxes, rather than in an often-ignored folder called ‘‘other.’’
Launched in 2011, the ‘‘other’’ folder is where Facebook routes messages it deems less relevant. Not quite spam, these include messages from people you most likely don’t know, based on Facebook’s reading of your social connections. Many users ignore this folder.
Now, users will be able to pay $1 to route their messages to non-friends. Facebook said Thursday that it is testing the service with a small percentage of individuals — not businesses — in the U.S.

Piers Morgan

Dear Piers Morgan,
I saw you blabbering about gun violence on your show last night. Why don't you go home if you don't like Americans having guns? I don't know where YOU stand on socialism. But true Americans don't like it and don't want their guns taken away. Real Amercians don't trust the governemnt to take care of them when they don't even know the true history of the current president.
You didn't grow up here, you haven't seen it's decline, you have another country to go to when this one goes to hell completely due to the current Socialist regime. Go home and stop helping those who don't truly love America.
Signed,
Everyone who didn't vote for the socialist

Banning Guns

The same lawmakers who want to pass restrictive gun laws for all American citizens are the ones who fail to keep illegal aliens and drugs out of the country. What they will do is take the guns from the law abiding citizens and the people that fly under the radar will go on getting the guns by illegal means.
To allow our guns to be taken away is to allow others to decide our fate. The people who murder with guns will continue to get them, and those of us who want them for protection will be out of luck.

Mall Shooting In Southern California

The man who fired 20 shots at a California mall lives in his car. Maybe it isn't the gun laws as much as it is people crumbling under the pressure of this poorly run economy. Again if more normal everyday citizens have their guns with them less rampages would last long enough to harm as many bystanders.

Chinese Gun Laws

The gun laws in China are strict, but what American citizens need to remember is that China is a communist nation. There are strict gun laws, but those laws are not there to keep the citizens of China safe. They are there to keep the citzens of China IN LINE. The Chinese government is all about keeping the people of china on a short leash. Millions of people in America own guns without incident. Those who do use guns to kill in America are either after drugs or on drugs (Can you say border patrol?) or are having financial difficulties because of the failing economy. Let's lay blame where blame is due. The gun laws are fine...it's the stress of the nation and lack of border control that is the problem.

Unions Are Not What They Once Were

The Anti-Union Vote in Michigan is good for America. The unions started out as a protector of the people, they have become a puppet and supporter of the leftist political party. Unions now help bloat the wages of Union members and prevent American companies from hiring more workers. With unions some get high wages and some get unemployment. Less Union equals more hiring, more production and lower prices for the American consumer!

In Addition maybe now even remaining Union Members will be able to think for themselves instead of being a puppet of the union and voting how the unions tell them to!

Duck Dynasty, Honey Boo Boo And The Absence Of Thought

The fact that shows like Survivor and Duck Dynasty are popular shows makes you wonder where the thinkers of society have gone. Have we strayed that far from culture that staged reality TV has become the norm for television viewing? Honey Boo is another. Does watching Here Comes Honey Boo make us feel better about ourselves because they are on the lower end of the scale in terms of culture, manners or etiquette? Is it because we don't have to think when watching these shows? It makes you ponder whether or not there is much hope for the future of complex thinking in terms of television shows. They are still out there, but are they an endangered species as low end viewing is perpetuated by low end viewers.

Hillary 2016 But Will It Be A Free Hillary?

Hillary Clinton may run in 2016, but which Hillary will it be? She would likely have my vote if it was the Hillary of the 1990's. The one who would do anything to get what she wanted, but the new subservient to Obama Hillary? Not sure I can back that one.

During the 2008 Primary she made a comment about "just you wait" "Information will come out" It never did. She knew something that could up end Obama and didn't tell. Rumours were that Chelsea had been threatend, and that is why Hillary clammed up. I would feel that is very possible. That is the only thing that, in my opinion, would keep her quiet when she had information that could end his bid.

Will she still be under the thumb of Obama and his backers if she gives another run at the presidency? Still being under debt from her 2008 campaign it is a safe bet that George Soros will have his hand in the mix and Hillary will still be owned.

Writers Note: The author of this opinion piece campaigned heavily for Hillary Clinton in 2008 and is a longtime supporter of both Clintons having voted for President Clinton in both his Presidential campaigns.

10,000 March Against Muslim Brotherhood's Morsi

From AP:
CAIRO - Tens of thousands of Egyptians massed in Cairo Tuesday for a march to the presidential palace to protest the assumption by the nation's Islamist president of nearly unrestricted powers and a draft constitution hurriedly adopted by his allies.
In the coastal city of Alexandria, some 10,000 opponents of President Mohammed Morsi gathered in the center of the country's second largest metropolis. They chanted slogans against the Egyptian leader and his Muslim Brotherhood.

A word to the protestors in EGYPT:
Keep marching and fighting. There are many hoping you prevail.

A word to the spectators in the USA:
Pay attention. This situation is closer than you think.

54 Trees

So this year the people in the White House have 54 trees, yes 54 Christmas Trees, unless they are calling them "Holiday Trees" trying to drive us further away from another way of identifying a Christian Holiday.

54 trees while many hard working Christians can barely afford to buy one.

54 trees that trick people into thinking you celebrate the holiday.

54 trees to trick people into thinking you believe like they do.

A note from those of us who think...We the people don't buy it.

Egyptians fear decades of Muslim Brotherhood rule, warn Morsi is no friend to US

Egyptians fear decades of Muslim Brotherhood rule, warn Morsi is no friend to US

By Richard Engel, NBC News Chief Foreign Correspondent

NBCNews.com

TAHRIR SQUARE, CAIRO-- This was the place where the revolution began: the roundish square where
Egyptians celebrated Mubarak's fall.
This is where they are shouting on bullhorns again, outraged because they say the Muslim Brotherhood has stolen
the revolution and is railroading though a constitution that could lock in Muslim Brotherhood rule for 50 years,
bringing more Islamic law. They cry -- not against Islam -- but that an extremist interpretation is being forced
down their throats by a president who critics say is acting every part the tyrant.
This is also a warning, they claim, of what may happen across the Middle East. The era of the
Muslim Brotherhood appears to have arrived. President Obama has hailed the Brotherhood's President Mohammed
Morsi as a pragmatist who helped end the Gazacrisis. Egyptians here think the Brotherhood has conned
Washington, just like it conned them.

Christians, liberals left out as Islamists back Egypt's draft constitution
"President Obama is supporting a terrorist," a man told me amid chants of "Leave! Leave!" in Tahrir Square and
"Down, down with the rule of the Muslim Brotherhood's spiritual leader." Before, it was "Down, down with
Mubarak."

Morsi's decree divides Egypt
Egypt was torn in half just over a week ago when Morsi made himself more powerful than Mubarak ever was, and
the kings before him. Morsi declared himself above judicial oversight, his decisions final and unassailable. He
made himself, according to critics, a new pharaoh on the Nile. Imagine if, after five months in office, an American
president announced that he could pass any law he pleased regardless of Congress or the U.S. Supreme Court
Imagine if he said his decisions were final and inspired by God.
Morsi last night apologized for the power grab and said he didn't want the extra authorities, but that they were
necessary for the good of the people and to safeguard the revolution. Dictators always say stuff like that. Burn
down the village to save it.

At first Egyptians were shocked that Morsi would make such an obvious and, according to Egyptian judges,
blatantly illegal move. It's clear now, as some analysts have long feared, that the brotherhood is making sure it
doesn't lose power again by taking control of Egypt's constitution. The Brotherhood wants to write the rules of the
game. Now they've done that too.

Protected by the president's new-found supreme and unquestionable powers, Morsi ordered his Islamist allies to
finish writing the constitution and get it on his desk by the end of this week. They did it, even though many
independent legal experts, Christians and opposition politicians boycotted the drafting process. The Brotherhood
called the new constitution "a jewel." Many Egyptians say it leaves too much room for the implementation of Sharia Law.
The constitution also empowers the people and government with a duty to uphold moral values, a vague clause
that could pave the way for vigilante morality police. The constitution barely mentions protecting women's rights.
According to women who were originally involved in the drafting process, and who subsequently left because they
felt they were being ignored, clauses specifically demanding that women be protected from violence and sex
trafficking were dropped because Islamists feared it would conflict with their desire to allow child brides.

The constitution has long been the Muslim Brotherhood's lodestar and, in the past, they have been willing the kill
for it. In 1954, not long after a group of 'free officers' carried out a coup against the British-backed monarchy, a
Brotherhood assassin tried to kill President Gamal Abdel Nasser. Nasser, a leading free officer, favored a mostly
secular, pro-military constitution. The Brotherhood, an Islamist group that supports the return of Arab and Islamic
unity and the revival of ancient Muslim glory and Shariah laws, couldn't accept the new rules.
The Brotherhood's assassination attempt failed. The gunman's eight bullets, fired while Nasser was giving a speech
inAlexandria, all missed. The Brotherhood was banned. The group went underground, at times tolerated but more
often repressed by Nasser's successors: presidents Mubarak and Anwar el-Sadat. When the revolts started against
Mubarak, the Brotherhood saw that fate had given them another chance.

Muslim Brotherhood's calculated rise to power
Looking back now, it all seems so obvious, yet many Egyptians refused to see it coming. In fact, many of the

secular revolutionaries backed the Brotherhood, arguing they were better allies than the hated military. The
Brotherhood played its cards well.

The Brotherhood was late to join the anti-Mubarak revolts in 2011. When students and liberals initially occupied
Tahrir Square, it looked like it might be a passing thing. The Brotherhood either didn't appreciate its significance,
or wanted to wait to see who was winning.

I remember watching the Brothers march into the square. They arrived in a large group of perhaps five hundred.
Nearly all were men. Many had beards. Most were dressed in poorly cut dark suits. They occupied a corner of
Tahrir near a Kentucky Fried Chicken. They came with microphones and wood to build a platform. The other
protesters in the square seemed happy to have the support of the new arrivals.
Egypt's Morsi, top judges compromise to defuse soaring tensions over decree
The protests continued to grow. Labor unions went on strike. The military enacted a coup against Mubarak.
President Obama withdrew his support for Washington's long-time Arab friend. And Mubarak the president was
no more.

The Brotherhood first said it wouldn't seek the new presidency at all. It promised to exist solely as an influential
member of civil society. Back then, many Egyptians feared the Brotherhood. It was a semi-secret group. It had a
small office in a Cairoapartment building with a sign on the door the size of an index card. Mubarak-era officials
had often described the Brotherhood as a group of terrorists. One security official I know called the Brotherhood
the most dangerous group in the world. But in the heady 1960s-like days after Mubarak's resignation, the
Brotherhood's bad reputation only seemed to give the group more credibility. They'd been oppressed by the man. It
was a new day. Everyone, it appeared, deserved a new beginning.

The Brotherhood went to work. It organized its considerable finances. It built a big new headquarters with far
bigger signs on the doors. It sent its representatives around the world, especially toWashington, on a charm
offensive. We've been oppressed, they claimed. We were slandered by a tyrant. We're not what you've heard.
We can unite the Sunni world against Iran. We can help bring Israeli-Palestinian peace. There were many promises
of a great future.

Even then, the Brotherhood's focus on the constitution was clear. The Brotherhood insisted the constitution be
drafted only after a new president was elected. The military was overseeing a transition back then. The
Brotherhood argued that the military couldn't be trusted to oversee the creation of such an important document.
Many Egyptians agreed -- a decision some sorely regret today.

Morsi won the election by a narrow margin and then five months into his term, made himself a dictator and
ordered his Islamist friends to quickly finish the constitution. Morsi has said he'll drop his extraordinary powers as
soon as the constitution is approved in a referendum in December. Islamists are convinced they'll be able to use
their grassroots network of activists to win the referendum like they won the elections. Western diplomats tend to
agree.

Yet the United Stateshas remained mostly silent on all this, urging both sides to stay calm and work it out.
Washington's policy seems to be that what's going on is simply democracy in progress as Egyptians learn to use
their new rights.

But in Tahrir Squarepeople seem convinced the Brotherhood isn't testing its fledgling wings. They say Morsi
knows exactly what he's doing, Washingtonbe warned.

Fiscal Cliff: Diversion or Part of the overall Plan?

To keep people diverted from the real issue it's important to keep them focused anywhere but the main . The Fiscal Cliff is a real problem, but is it the most important?
What happened to our world while Al Gore was playing "the sky is falling" with his global warming? There are underlying issues that stand to make the United States, founded on Christian principals, unrecognizable. Those of us who are generational Americans are losing our grasp on America as it falls into the hands of those who do not embrace it or what it stands for but only want to commandeer it for what they can destroy within it's borders.
Even now, the leftist press is trying to paint Romney as Struggling. Obama has blamed Bush for everything for the last four years, but now claim Romney is "Struggling" to adapt to a schedule that is open and unscheduled. How about giving him credit for being a hard worker who doesn't necessarily want to be a do nothing parasitic burden on America like most of the Obama electorate. Romney is a hard working American. Perhaps THAT is why he was unable to connect with Obama voters. Hard working is not something most of his welfare laden, government handout receiving electorate can relate to.

Bangladesh Factory Fire - Disney Sears & Walmart

The news is reporting that the Bangladesh factory fire which killed more than 100 made clothes for Disney, Sears and Walmart. All companies who should be employing AMERICANS.
If the THUG UNIONS would get their nose out of the wages (too high) arena and only worry about the welfare of workers America would have more of these jobs.
It's the unions who have made these jobs too expensive for the companies to compete in the USA.
Until Unions are put in their place America will continue to suffer.

Smoking Rots The Brain So Says Recent Study

BBC Website Smoking "rots" the brain by damaging memory, learning and reasoning, according to researchers at King's College London. A study of 8,800 people over 50 showed high blood pressure and being overweight also seemed to affect the brain, but to a lesser extent. Scientists involved said people needed to be aware that lifestyles could damage the mind as well as the body. Their study was published in the journal Age and Ageing. Researchers at King's were investigating links between the likelihood of a heart attack or stroke and the state of the brain. Data about the health and lifestyle of a group of over-50s was collected and brain tests, such as making participants learn new words or name as many animals as they could in a minute, were also performed. They were all tested again after four and then eight years. Decline The results showed that the overall risk of a heart attack or stroke was "significantly associated with cognitive decline" with those at the highest risk showing the greatest decline. It also said there was a "consistent association" between smoking and lower scores in the tests. Alzheimer's Research UK One of the researchers, Dr Alex Dregan, said: "Cognitive decline becomes more common with ageing and for an increasing number of people interferes with daily functioning and well-being. "We have identified a number of risk factors which could be associated with accelerated cognitive decline, all of which, could be modifiable." He added: "We need to make people aware of the need to do some lifestyle changes because of the risk of cognitive decline." The researchers do not know how such a decline could affect people going about their daily life. They are also unsure whether the early drop in brain function could lead to conditions such as dementia. Heart and brain Dr Simon Ridley, from Alzheimer's Research UK, said: "Research has repeatedly linked smoking and high blood pressure to a greater risk of cognitive decline and dementia, and this study adds further weight to that evidence. "Cognitive decline as we age can develop into dementia, and unravelling the factors that are linked to this decline could be crucial for finding ways to prevent the condition. "These results underline the importance of looking after your cardiovascular health from mid-life." The Alzheimer's Society said: "We all know smoking, a high blood pressure, high cholesterol levels and a high BMI [Body Mass Index] is bad for our heart. This research adds to the huge amount of evidence that also suggests they can be bad for our head too. "One in three people over 65 will develop dementia but there are things people can do to reduce their risk. "Eating a balanced diet, maintaining a healthy weight, exercising regularly, getting your blood pressure and cholesterol checked and not smoking can all make a difference."

New Sars Virus Found In The Middle East

From Redorbit.com comes a report that six people have been infected and two have died from a virus closely related to SARS which caused concern in recent years. From Red Orbit: A new coronavirus, similar in nature to SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), has infected six and resulted in two deaths in the Middle East, various media outlets have reported this weekend. According to BBC News, the number of reported cases, as well as the number of fatalities linked with the respiratory ailment, doubled on Friday, as a second person was reported killed and three additional infections had been reported by the World Health Organization (WHO). Both fatalities occurred in Saudi Arabia, and reports of the virus had been limited to that country and Qatar thus far, though one man had been transported to the UK for treatment, they added. The WHO initially issued a global warning about the disease is September, cautioning that a Qatar man who had recently traveled to Saudi Arabia had become infected with a virus that had previously never been detected in humans, where a second man had died from the same disease, Kate Kelland of Reuters reported on Friday. The new disease “shares some of the symptoms of SARS,” a coronavirus that surfaced in China in 2002, killing approximately 10% of the 8,000 people who contracted it worldwide, Kelland added. Among those symptoms are coughing, difficulty breathing, and high fever. “The WHO said investigations were being conducted into the likely source of the infection, the method of exposure, and the possibility of human-to-human transmission of the virus,” said Forbes contributor David DiSalvo. “It added that so far, only the two most recently confirmed cases in Saudi Arabia were epidemiologically linked — they were from the same family, living in the same household.” In a statement, WHO officials said heath officials should “continue their surveillance for severe acute respiratory infections,” and until additional information becomes available, it would be “prudent to consider that the virus is likely more widely distributed than just the two countries which have identified cases.” They suggested anyone suffering from “unexplained pneumonias” should be tested for the new virus, even if they had not traveled to either Qatar or Saudi Arabia. In the meantime, they said they could continue to work with officials in both countries to gain a better understanding of the disease, and noted additional epidemiological and scientific studies were required to learn more about this SARS-like ailment

With no winner in Saturday's drawing the POWERBALL Jackpot goes to a record $425 Million Dollars. That is how hight the jackpot will be for Wednesday's drawing. The Jackpot could actually go higher than that as ticket sales will likely increase as the novelty of having a shot at that much money will be irrisistible to many. This press release from the Associated Press: DES MOINES, Iowa – Lottery officials say nobody has won the Powerball jackpot and the top prize will now increase to about $425 million for the next drawing, the largest jackpot ever for the game. Iowa Lottery spokeswoman Mary Neubauer said sales were strong over the holiday week for Saturday's drawing, which was estimated at $325 million before the numbers were picked. That was the fourth-largest jackpot in the game's history. Capital Holiday Parade in Washington DC Has Been Canceled

In the last few hours it was finally announced that the Capital Holiday Parade has indeed been canceled. This from their website. We are very sad to announce that the Capital Holiday Parade has been canceled due to lack of funding to pay for District of Columbia city services. We are a small non-profit 501(c)3 organization with a goal to promote music education and performing arts throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area and across the United States. We knocked on every door and left no stone unturned for financial support and we were just unable to secure funding for what we know would have been a great event to kick off the holiday season here in Washington, DC. All tickets purchased on our website as well as through our partner Living Social will be refunded immediately. A HUGE THANKS goes out to the Washington Examiner and their staff members: Mitch, Deanna, Tiffany and Marilu for all of their support. Please continue to support the Washington Examiner and their efforts to inform the Washington Metropolitan Area of important news and information in the community. This is truly the best source of information in the metropolitan area and a company that cares about the community. We offer a sincere heartfelt "thank you" to all that volunteered and offered their time to try and make the Capital Holiday Parade a success. It is our hope that you and your families will have a wonderful holiday season. Warm Regards, Capital Holiday Parade Staff .

Washington DC Capital Holiday Parade Canceled?

On November 21st just three days before the November 24th Washington DC Capital Holiday Parade was supposed to take place a group of participants were notified (early in the day) that the parade was canceled. Twelve hours later and there is no word of it in the news. The parade's website is still showing the parade is on as scheduled. Why would they not notifiy the public? If there is a reason to cancel a parade why not warn all those people planning to go to the event? How many are already on their way? Interesting.

Arrest Made In Monkey Murder

It was good to read an arrest has been made in the murder of a monkey at Zoo Boise. The article suggests the attacker may have been on drugs. That shouldn't matter. He is a murderer and should be treated as such. If it was drugs then he was under the influence by his own hand. He is responsible for himself. I hope he gets jail time and large fines and is forced to community service at a zoo. He should be forced to pick up animal poo with his teeth. Remember this man and hope he suffers for being a sub human.

The Slogan was NOT Give Me Your Tired, Your Lazy

Homeland Security Promotes Welfare Or Welcome To Socialism and A Lazy New Group Of "Americans
In part the article says: Ask not what you can do for your country, but what your new country can do for you. “Welcome to USA.gov,” a website maintained by the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), bills itself as the “primary gateway for new immigrants to find basic information on how to settle in the United States” — featuring a prominent section for new immigrants about how to access government benefits. This is not what the American Dream should be about. It should be about coming here and working hard for a good living, not having it handed to you so you can sit around, be lazy and get fat.

Monkey Murdered at Zoo Boise

A break in at Zoo Boise had devestating effects. A monkey at the zoo was gravely injured. This paragraph from the article speaks volumes:
During a search of the zoo before dawn, Burns heard a groan that at first he thought sounded human. It turned out to be an injured Patas monkey barely moving near the perimeter fence. The zoo's veterinarian was called, but the monkey died just before 6 a.m. as it was being examined. A necropsy later determined that blunt force trauma was the cause of death, police said. As the investigation continues we can only hope the person responsible is caught and charged with every chrime possible.

Socialism is Not an Option

We have a system that increasingly taxes work and subsidizes nonwork. - Milton Friedman
How true, and NOT what this country was founded on. Our country needs to get back to the good old days. Were there problems? Of Course, but we had qualities that the liberals and their media friends are trying to do away with. We as a country had a strong work ethic. We did not expect everything handed to us. We cheered those who wanted prosperity. Now the attitude is that of spreading the wealth around to those who are too lazy to work for themselves. That is a philosophy sure to doom a country. Helping someone get back on their feet is miles away from supporting them while they sit there being a lazy do nothing. This country has always helped their neighbor, but it's time to stop supporting them. We are not a socialist country and should fight against becoming one.

Twinkies Killed By The Unions

Hostess the company that makes TWINKIES has now laid off 18,000 workers. Good job Bakers' Union, You have helped prove once again that unions, are slowly destroying the ability for this country's businesses to continue to prosper. There is a big difference between looking out for the welfare of the workers as you were originally intented to do and aiding the greed of the American worker be pricing them out of the market. American workers need a "Fair Wage" but UNIONS quickly push for greed. Dear unons, Your workers are not doing rocket science. Stop at a FAIR wage, don't demand what the USA economy cannot provide. Rip Twinkies, Cupcakes, Ding Dongs, Wonder Bread and Ho Ho's. Another Victim of a thug union.

Political Karma

Reported from various news sources... PA and Ohio just posted higher jobless rates. A week after they gave their electoral votes to a man who promised to shut down Marcellus shale operations and toughen regulations on coal. You just have to hope that those new jobless people voted for Obama. The rest of us were smart enough to see this coming. Meanwhile Denny's is going to charge a 5% Obamacare surcharge. Good for them. Maybe midterm elections will bleed out the blue. Jesse Jackson Jr won't resign from congress until he gets disability pay. More of the what's in it for me mentality.

A Record Number Of States

Due to Obama's reelection a record number of states want to secede from the United States and businesses are putting hiring freezes in place and many many people are afraid of Obamacare. How did he get elected?

Rock Stars and Nut Shells

It's finally hit me as to how to reason out why anyone (aside from being gay and wanting to marry) would ever vote Obama into office for a second term. It's learned behavoir. Think of the rock star that people scream over and say is the "best ever." Aynone with ears could tell you differently, but the fans rant and rave over the "best voice ever." If you press these fans further (onces with an IQ anyway) they admit that they aren't really the best voice but they give away freebees with their fan club and tell you you are wonderful because you are a fan. Meanwhile the fans of Pavarotti or Sinatra may not get as many giveaways or perks but they have the satisfaction of knowing that they are fans of someone who really does have talent. That's the state of the presidency in a nut shell.

Indianapolis

There was a large explosion about two hours ago in Indianapolis Indiana. They aren't sure what has caused it but they are saying everything from a gas explosion to a plane crash. The people of the area were told to have ready kits in case of an emergency. Those from adjoining neighborhoods are gathering their kits and going to the scene to help. No major national television stations are covering it. All news is coming from a web broadcast of a local station, and of course twitter.

The first step on the way to victory is to recognize the enemy. - Corrie Ten Boom
Too often we buy into the rhetoric of the enemy and hire them for the job.

Oil Drilling Shut Down Out West

In order to keep the USA dependent on foreign oil the Obama Administration is shutting down shale drilling projects in the western part of the country. The administration is already anti-coal and seemingly wants to keep us in a subservient position to the Saudis who are predominantly muslim. It is important to remember that by taking away our ability to produce our own energy we are also being stripped of our freedom as we are now dependent on an outside entity for our survival. Stripping our energy independence

Big Mac Attack

Today there was news that McDonalds sales dropped for the first time in a decade. Yay, you say? People are starting to eat healthier? That would a step in the right direction, BUT, let's be realisitc. It's probably the economy. Yes, even the luxury meals at McDonalds are too expensive for many these days.

Non-Profits And Their Salaries

Non-profits are largely suffering in the current climate of the poor US economy. Therefore the largest of them should be rethinking their incredibly high salaries for their top executives. Non - Profit jobs on local levels do not have the large salaries however, Non-profits such as the Red Cross have top salaries of over $600,000.00 annually. In the climate of a non-profit those in charge should not be paid such a large salary. Yes they take in Millions of dollars a year, but how many blankets or how much food or shelter could you get with that kind of cash?

Jesse Jackson Jr In Talks For Plea Deal With Feds

This would explain that whole depression thing.

Jesse Jackson Jr. in plea deal talks with feds over fund misuse: sources - Chicago Sun-Times

His dad has been awfully quiet on his son's latest projects. Sorry he's having "medical issues" but glad he was caught.

Benghazi...The Debacle Continues

It's now been admitted that The Obama administration lied about the Benghazi attack. So why are we not charging them as an accomplice to murder? It was a cover up for sure, but no one seems to be all that suprised. What has this country come to? Oh, the good old days of Nixon when you could force an undesireable out of office. Have the lawyers fallen asleep at the controls? Edgar Snyder where are you? I don't mean that. Edgar Snyder and his firm are not really up to the job...
And you know he would also have something to say about how we should not apologize for our country. Ronald Reagan was a better President than any of us realized at the time. Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives. Ronald Reagan

Let's Hope It's Just Temporary

So, Jesse Jackson Jr wins his reelection from the looney bin. That doesn't make me feel better about our dire financial and health related situations in this country but it's somehow fitting. I think it's knowing that we can chalk up much of the current political situation to insanity. Let's hope for the sake of our nation it's temporary.

Election Fraud Pot Meet Kettle

Democrat Howard Dean Says of today's Presidential Election: "The only way we lose is through fraud." Fraud...Fraud...Oh, You mean like cutting delegates in half in Michigan and Florida when it was to Obama's advantage and Hillary's disadvantage? And then outright stripping Hillary of some of her EARNED delegates? You mean fraud like THAT Howard? Well, if anyone should know about fraud it would be YOU Mr. Dean.

Disappearing Czars

The Obama Czars....what happened to that plan? Where did they go? They apparently still there. Just flying under the radar. Who has Czars in America? That's not an American thing.

The Economy

Yes, I agree with the news reporter that the economy is a big issue for this election. But keeping socialism at bay is too. Socialism and Marxism are not positive places for a country to be and we are there if we aren't careful. Don't give the USA four more years of socialist Obama. Please.

Goodness For Pets

This past year a law was passed that any state wanting to be eligible for FEMA aid has to accomodate pets during an evacuation situation. You cannot be made to abandon your pet! Good news and the way it should be!

It's Been A Week

There are still 1.2 million people without power in the New York, New Jersey area after Hurricane Sandy. People are cold and help is very slow in coming. Shouldn't the Red Cross and FEMA have a better handle on these things? Obama came to the Rescue...no not to the rescue exactly...actually it was for a photo op. He came...they begged...he posed for a picture and went back on the campaign trail. Bloomberg is almost as much of a joke as Obama. If Guiliani were in charge it would be likely that things would be in MUCH better shape.

Obama Care Doesn't Really Help Americans

Yes, my health insurance has gone up since Obama took office, and a friend with a chronic illness has been told that the medicine that helps his severe pain is no longer available to him since the small amount of Obama care kicked in this past April. Obama care is a scam and will end up costing more money, and killing more people due to waiting times and unavailable meds.

Four Years and Worse Than We Were

Today is the day before Election day 2012. The election is so close. With all the momentum Obama had in the last election he would be breezing through this process if he had even risen to the level of mediocre. As it is Romney is likely to take several "blue leaning" states. The main reasons so many are no longer backing Obama are varied. his hiding facts about the murders of four Americans in Benghazi, his mishadling of our economy, the constant apologizing for America which makes us look weak, The list goes on and on. I don't know a single person who is better off now than four years ago. Obama does not seem to have America as his top priority. I'm betting Romney Will.

The Red Cross

It's sad how the Red Cross is still begging for money for hurricane victims when they are so ill prepared to handle anything of this magnitude. Not only have they failed to get proper supplies and shelter to the people of NY and NJ but they are asking cash strapped America to send money when their CEO makes over $650,000.00 a year! As we see from their disorganization they are obviously not earning that outlandish amount of money. The Red Cross is supposed to be ready to act at a moments notice yet they had more than 72 hours to start making plans for this storm. Perhaps they need to spend more money on preparedness and less on a CEO who is obviously ineffective.

George Soros Wants to Cut Military Benefits

Since when has Soros been running this country? Oh, right, Since Obama "Won" the last election. Raise your hand...were you a half delegate or a full delegate in the primary of 2008? Depends on who you were for, right? Soros' idea of cutting benefits to the military is another way to make America weak. No one in their right mind loves war, but if you are not prepared for it you can fast become a victim. Obama and Soros are all about making America weak, as a military force, and a financial force, as a nation. They are not good for this country.

Dear America

It's obvious by the closeness of the upcoming Presidential Election that you are waking up to the dangers of a socialist society. Obama is a socialist who wants to make the people of this nation so dependent on the government that it no longer cares to live the American Dream. Another four years of Obama and those of us to want to strive and work for what we get will be a minority. Keep the American Dream alive by voting for the person who believes in a strong work ethic, and not handouts for illegals and chronic welfare dwellers. Romney will pull America out of it's slump and help us to return to a nation of Proud AMERICANS.
